FOOD SERVICE WORKER OPPORTUNITY FOR SCHOOL CAFETERIA:
If you love to cook and serve kids, then why not turn your passion into a reality? The Food Service Worker position is a 180 day commitment that follows the school-year calendar. SLA Management is looking to hire someone with the skills necessary to be a successful team member that can create a positive experience for each child served.
PRIMARY ROLE:
Under direction of the Unit Leader, perform routine food preparation, service and cleanup duties in a school kitchen and cafeteria service line.
Responsibilities:
Know the service standards of the cafeteria as outlined by the Unit Leader. Perform as a team player. Utilize commercial equipment in the preparation and cooking food. Demonstrate knowledge of food safety and sanitation. Prepare food by washing, cutting, chopping, slicing, mixing, and assembling. Assist in serving food on service line. Wash dishes and utensils. Clean food service area. Work with the Unit Leader to provide a positive experience for students, parents, faculty, and staff. Perform other duties as required.
QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED:
High school diploma or GED
Valid driver's license (Preferred)
ServSafe certified (Preferred)
Background check
Team player with a positive attitude
The desire to provide students with the best 30 minutes of their day.
