is currently recruiting for a Shop Clerk.
Shop Clerk will be responsible for all revisions coming into the shop as well as knowing the location of these revisions.
Will be responsible for the printing and distribution of blueprints and tags to shop floor, quality control and management.
Shop clerk may also assist outside inspectors when required.
Successful applicant should have excellent computer and organizational skills.
Must be able to multi-task and communicate effectively.
Experience in a steel fabrication environment is preferred.
Primary Responsibilities Copy, fax, and file correspondence Assist the Purchasing Manager with drawings, releases, etc.
Input data into Excel spreadsheet Track orders and update order records Perform other duties and assist other departments as required.
Qualifications and Requirements Possess basic knowledge in office administration or another related field Ability to prioritize and multitask Excellent written and verbal communication skills Must be proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) High school diploma or equivalent Owen Steel offers an excellent benefits package to include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability and a 401(k) Plan.
Rate of pay is commensurate with experience.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
