They serve an important role of reporting, analyzing, forecasting and budgeting the revenue, operational and capital expenses for their supporting business unit or shared service department.
Financial Analysts at CSC are also called upon to perform business analytics and partake in strategic conversations.
The goal of a Financial Analyst at CSC is to become a trusted business partner to their supported area, providing business enhancing analysis, guidance and recommendations.
Some of the things you will be doing:
Maintain a Global Position tracking database and Workforce planning software to provide weekly updates to the FP&A Team and ensure an accurate forecasting process.
Monthly review of global employee expenses including salaries, incentives payroll taxes and benefits.
Interface with global recruiters and business unit partners on status reports in order to provide accurate headcount forecasts Review monthly commissions payments and update ASC606 tracking spreadsheet.
Complete monthly assigned employee expense analysis, working with members of the Accounting team to process month-end journal entries.
Participate in quarterly forecast and annual budget process, focused on employee expense and headcount.
Perform various financial calculations, create specified ad hoc reports, graphs, and charts of financial data.
What technical skills, experience, and qualifications do you need? 2
years' experience preparing / analyzing budgets & forecasts.
Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting.
Demonstrated ability to analyze, compile, interpret and summarize data from multiple sources and develop recommendations.
Thorough understanding of financial metrics and accounting concepts.
Advanced Microsoft Excel expertise including demonstrated capabilities with pivot tables, VLOOKUP's and formulas Self-motivated with ability to operate independently or within a team structure.
Strong organizational and process improvement skills with attention to detail.
Superior communication skills and ability to effectively communicate to all levels of the company, with a strong focus on senior management.
Ability to manage multiple projects, shift priorities and meet deadlines.
