The successful candidate will be responsible for safely and efficiently delivering goods to customers in a timely manner.
This position requires a valid driver's license, excellent driving skills, and the ability to read maps and follow directions.
The ideal candidate will have strong customer service skills, be able to work independently, and have the ability to lift heavy items.
Responsibilities:
Drive a vehicle to deliver goods to customers.
Adhere to all safety regulations and traffic laws.
Load and unload cargo from the vehicle.
Communicate with customers regarding delivery times and any issues that may arise.
Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues and perform preventative maintenance when necessary.
Keep accurate records of deliveries and pick-ups.
