Remote Technology Team Lead
A global business services company based in the Greater Philadelphia Area is seeking a Technical Team Lead to join their Observability team within their Enterprise Technology organization.
As the Team Lead in this space, this individual will act as a liaison between the team manager and technical resources within the group.
Day to day they will be expected to oversee the day-to-day operations around observability tasks, participate in resource planning, evaluate demand intake and identify risks.
Additionally, they will partner with team members to provide direction and mentorship, and deliver feedback.
The ideal candidate should have a strong technical acumen related to observability/ monitoring tools.
Responsibilities:
- Cultivate a collaborative and productive work environment that supports diversity and reflects the company's brand - Support monitoring of the customer experience - Lead a team to deliver high-value observability solutions (including but not limited to metrics, events, logging and traces) - Support the team by providing direction, clarity, and removing obstacles - Managing and delegating daily work (incidents, service requests, project tasks) - Helping to develop strategic direction and roadmap for the observability team - Assist in building and maintaining internal technical documentation and knowledge base articles - Provide immediate and continuous job performance feedback to assist your team in achieving job requirements and career development goals - Mentor team members; helping them grow their technical capabilities - Driving continuous development process improvements - Build collaborative relationships with other teams and stakeholders within the organizationThis is a fully remote, permanent job opportunity.
- Exposure to ServiceNow ITSM and/or ITOM - 3
years of experience as a Team Lead - Strong understanding of/ background in DevOps practices - Experience with Enterprise System Monitoring Tools - ELK, Elasticsearch, Splunk, Solarwinds or AppDynamics - Strong communication and collaboration skills Recommended Skills Business Process Improvement Coaching And Mentoring Communication Customer Experience Dev Ops Elasticsearch Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
