As a data scientist, you will have the exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge data and technology in the pharmaceutical industry.
You will be responsible for analyzing complex data sets to generate insights that drive business decisions and help bring new medicines to market.
Key
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement statistical models and algorithms to analyze complex data sets Work with cross-functional teams to identify and define business problems and develop analytical solutions Conduct data exploration, visualization, and feature engineering to support machine learning models Collaborate with research scientists to design experiments and analyze data generated from pre-clinical and clinical studies Develop and implement data-driven approaches to optimize drug development and clinical trial design Stay current with the latest advances in data science and machine learning and apply them to drug discovery and development
Qualifications:
A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field 5
years of experience in data science or a related field, with experience working in the pharmaceutical industry preferred Strong programming skills in Python Experience with machine learning algorithms and statistical analysis techniques Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team Preferred
Qualifications:
PhD in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field Experience working with large and complex data sets, including genomic and clinical data Experience with deep learning algorithms and natural language processing Knowledge of drug development and clinical trial design Experience with cloud computing platforms such as AWS and Azure Publications or presentations at Machine Learning, Deep Learning and Data Mining journals/conferences
