The Opportunity We are seeking a Conflict of Interest Specialist to join our Firm.
Within this position, you will be responsible for providing conflicts department assistance to attorneys, legal assistants, and support staff by taking requests and retrieving information from various files, databases, online sources, and outside services.
This position offers a fully remote schedule.

As the Conflict of Interest Specialist you will:
Perform accurate and methodical searches in the Firm's Conflicts Of Interest System relevant to new business, investments, or hiring.
Report accurate written results to requesting attorneys, legal assistants and support staff.
Assist in maintaining and updating the Conflicts System.
Qualifications Knowledge of relevant firm computer software programs (e.
g.
, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint), with the ability to learn new software and operating systems Ability to use third-party database systems, such as DNBi, Hoover's, and Capital IQ to find company information Demonstrates effective interpersonal and communication skills, both verbally and in writing Demonstrates close attention to detail Ability to handle multiple projects and shifting priorities Ability to handle sensitive matters and maintain confidentiality Ability to organize and prioritize work Ability to work well in a demanding and fast-paced environment Ability to work well independently as well as effectively within a team Flexibility to adjust hours and work the hours necessary to meet operating and business needs Experience/Education Bachelor's Degree Minimum of one year related experience in Conflicts of Interest research Salary Details Culture & Life at Skadden What makes Skadden special is our people and the culture, community, and spirit of collaboration we have created.
