Responsible for leading and managing the successful execution of the HRERC Data Management team daily operations to drive an efficient and optimal employee experience.
As manager, provides instruction, guidance, functional and technical expertise on HR business processes and procedures-based HR system application.
The role is responsible for the daily distribution of workload/activities based on priority and approved SLAs.
Via the Case Management Ticketing application, all inquiries are assigned, resolved, and closed properly based on targeted metrics.
This role works closely with key stakeholders, both internal and external partners, to ensure service level agreements (SLA) and other key measures are at or above standards, constantly striving to improve the quality and customer experience.
Interacts cross-functionally with other HR areas as well as various departments within the Company to ensure hand-offs, communication is customer focused, seamless and delivered with high quality.
Complies with Amtrak's auditing requirements based on employee master data activity.
Essential Functions:
Supervise and manages a team of HR Data Analyst responsible for the day-to-day transactions/operations within the HR System and various program administration.
Identifies customer-impacting issues and implements solutions and process-improvements to increase customer satisfaction.
Leads and participates in cross-functional process improvement initiatives.
Develops and Implements training programs to improve the quality and productivity of the team.
Responds to escalations, providing root cause analysis and recommendations.
Develops remediation plans and drive to resolution with minimal guidance from the Director, HR Employee Resource Center Manages the team and ensure high service delivery and execution.
Ensures all operational support and procedure documentation is maintained and updated.
Evaluates operational performance of teams against established goals.
Promotes training, personal growth, professional development, and teamwork for staff.
Evaluate overall performance of staff and resolve individual performance problems through appropriate performance management programs.
Create monthly HR Employee Resource Center metrics scorecard.
Develop and maintain open communications with HR management and other senior managers in the organization.
Represent the HR Employee Resource Center at both internal and external meetings.
Participate in special projects as required.
MINIMUM
Qualifications:
7 years of relevant experience, including people management Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Operations Management, Business Administration, or other related field Experience in HR Shared Services, HR business process improvement and redesign HCM systems experience MINIMUM KSA (Knowledge, Skills and Abilities):
Strong knowledge of Human Resources as a discipline Outstanding customer service focus and strong interpersonal skills Excellent communication skills including verbal, written, and listening Able to establish and maintain effective relationships with customers gaining their trust and respect Able to work with a diverse workforce Demonstrated effectiveness when dealing with dissatisfied customers Able to consistently maintain a team environment by openly sharing information, exchanging ideas, coordinating activities, peer coaching, and/or jointly solving problems Able to drive continuous operational excellence and provide value Strong people leadership development skills Strong problem solving skills with the able to simplify strategy into specific actions, make decisions and communicate priorities.
Able to prioritize problems in terms of strategic and possible long-term impacts Able to work closely with customers to enhance, improve and reengineer processes to ensure positive results Able to handle confidential information Able to identify and analyze issues based on data or available information Able to work as a team member in a specialized area Strong time management skills PREFERRED

The salary/hourly range is $99,080 - $128,410.
Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, internal equity, etc.
Depending on an employee's assigned worksite or location, Amtrak may consider a geo-pay differential to be applied to the employee's base salary.
