AVP, Regulatory Relations, Barclays US Consumer BankWilmington As a Barclays Assistant Vice President, Regulatory Relations, Barclays US Consumer Bank, you will be supporting the effective delivery of a program of work for predominantly US regulators:
FDIC, CFPB, State of Delaware, Federal Reserve.
You will serve as a liaison between Barclays and USCB/BBDE's regulators on supervisory matters.
The Strategic Policy Group (SPG) is newly formed, bringing together Government Relations, Regulatory Policy, and Regulatory Relations in each of the jurisdictions that we operate.

What will you be doing? o Ensuring regulators have access to the people and information they require to discharge their supervisory accountabilitieso Compiling presentations (policy and working group updates, etc.
) and other written deliverables and centrally tracking, coordinating, and reviewing stakeholder responseso Using client relationship management technology platform, BRES to record and log regulatory engagements, correspondence, and communicationso Assisting the Head of US Regulatory Relations team, keeping them informed on emerging issues, escalating items, and devising appropriate strategies in responseo Assisting in the preparation of briefs, meeting materials, agendas, note-taking, deliverables, and follow-up itemso Collaborating with internal partners to drive management information/reporting and execution related to prioritieso Planning and booking travel; processing expense reports; and performing other administrative taskso Leading MI and reporting accountabilities including maintaining databases and distribution lists What we're looking for:
o Bachelor's degree or relevant years of experience/serviceo Relevant experience in a financial institution and working with large volumes of data and interpreting them to cohesively develop presentations is preferredo Proficiency with Microsoft applications including Teams, Word, Excel, and PowerPointo Ability to work at high pace while still maintaining accuracy and having a high level of confidentiality/discretion is require Skills that will help you in the role:
o Experience with regulators or regulatory relations, preferably in a bank or financial services settingo Solid leadership, social, multi-tasking, teamwork and communication skills are essentialo You will be a proactive and dedicated self-starter who has the courage to ask questions, challenge the status quo, and bring closure to issues through working well with teams Where will you be working?
