As Needed JOB SUMMARY The Dispensary Associate is a multi-function position.
The Dispensary Associate is responsible for being a Patient/customer Advisor (PA), Delivery Driver, Patient/customer Orientation (PO)/Front Desk, and Retail Inventory employee.
The job environment is fast-paced, and the individual will multitask many different job functions throughout their scheduled shifts.
The individual should be able to work varied hours ranging from early morning to night, and weekends/holidays.
TYPICAL WORKING CONDITIONS/ENVIRONMENT Work is performed in a busy marijuana dispensary.
The dispensary area can be loud due to the large number of people, music, etc.
Will be in almost constant contact with patient/customers and co-workers.
Work can be stressful and may include dealing with difficult patient/customer demands.
The Delivery driver will spend every working day on the road inside and driving the company vehicle(s).
They will load and deliver items, which requires working outside in hot, cold, or inclement weather.
They often interact with patient/customers, dispatch (security), inventory, and other drivers/coworkers, both in person and over the phone.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Accepts Credit Card payments using Dutchie Mobile POS system.
All tasks otherwise assigned by Management.
Assists in packaging deliveries and verification against order forms.
Collaborates with dispatch (security) teams to ensure safe deliveries.
Conduct daily product audits to make certain everything is accounted for.
Contacts delivery customers via company-provided cell phone.
Ensure that all products are accounted for within the software system.
Ensures compliance, accuracy, and security in product tracking and delivery.
Ensuring the display and register area's neatness and organization.
Facilitating patient/customer orientation and verification.
Follows prescribed routes and schedules.
Fulfills orders for kiosk, register, and delivery.
Handling phone calls from patients, customers, vendors, and staff.
Keeping the waiting area clean and orderly.
Maintaining an accurate online patient/customer database through paperwork, data entry, scanning, and printing.
Maintains paper copies of manifests and transaction logs.
Managing cash and credit/debit card transactions.
Performing opening and closing procedures, which involve securing sensitive items, cleaning, trash removal, organizing, and restocking register supplies.
Performs deliveries using various routes.
Produce labels for all products that need to be updated.
Projects a positive image of the organization.
Providing information about dispensary services.
Recording messages from patients, customers, vendors, and staff.
Responsible for delivering products to patients/customers.
Run inventory reports regularly to ensure the product is accounted for.
Safely loads, unloads, and operates company vehicles.
Updating the online menu(s).
Verifies customer identity using the Dutchie POS system and ID cards.
Work additional hours as needed.
Works with the dispensary manager to conduct a monthly comprehensive inventory audit of all marijuana products/accessories dispensary vault.
REQUIRED PHYSICAL DEMANDS Able to use a POS (point of sale) system and inventory software for extended periods.
Frequent use of a computer, including accurate text/data entry.
Gets in and out of an automobile multiple times daily.
Lifts up to 50 pounds, carries products, totes, and pushes/pulls carts.
Proficient in handling cash and credit transactions accurately and promptly.
Requires normal hearing and eyesight (correctable) and hand-eye coordination for operating various equipment.
Safely maneuvers in confined spaces.
Safely operates a motor vehicle in all seasons.
Utilizes arms at an extended position for extended periods.
Wears PPE (personal protective equipment) as needed, including but not limited to masks and gloves.
Work involves periods of prolonged sitting, standing, bending, stooping, and stretching.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE High School diploma or equivalent required.
A degree or experience in a similar and/or related field is preferred.
Customer service experience of 1
