Responsibilities:
- Data mining experience used for developing descriptive, predictive and planning/forecasting models.
- Experience with one or more data mining and modeling tools.
- Proven Data Analyst experience (expert SQL query/reporting and analysis for 7-10 years).
- Working knowledge of the Financial
services
Industry (at least 2 years within the industry).
- At least 10 years of IT experience, most of it on the data side of IT.
- Big Data experience in any flavor.
- Hands-on, dynamic, action-oriented individual with great problem solving skills, and willing to learn and experiment with new analytics technologies.
- Be able to create ways to explore data, visualization of data to understand relationships.
- Resource would ideally be someone who complements the existing data scientists teamEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
