The incumbent in this position will be serve as a business partner by confidentially analyzing, developing and administering Payroll programs and processes to ensure compliance with business/legal requirements as well as:
Maintaining and enforcing current payroll practices and policies,
Maintaining the integrity of the payroll/HRIS system, time and attendance system,
virtual file room, and
Generating reports as needed
Job Requirements:
Must have experience with multi-state payroll and reconciliation of
payroll taxes.
Working knowledge of federal and state regulations
Strong analytic and problem-solving skills essential
Must have a best practices orientation
CPP strongly desired

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
