Instructional Designer II (E12) or Instructional Designer Sr (E12).
The ID Sr is more technical in nature and responsible in duties.
There are two available positions which management will fill at the appropriate job title based upon the experience of identified candidates.
These positions can be located in any Anthem site. Telecommute considered.
To be successful in these positions, the candidate will need experience in designing and developing instructional content and learning solutions in support of a clinical audience.
Position will design and develop learning solutions to clinical associates (including utilization management, care management, disease management, behavioral health and clinical health policy associates)
Responsible for analyzing, designing, developing, implementing, and evaluating comprehensive learning solutions.
Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:
o Establishes/Maintains relationship with stakeholders to seek out and gather feedback of learning solution.
o Conducts and leads needs analysis and evaluates effectiveness of learning solutions.
o Ensures seamless learning experience that fosters collaboration between the Performance Solutions organization.
o Monitors and drives use of approved standards for all learning objects.
o Facilitates train-the-trainer sessions, identifies performance enhancement opportunities, and uses data to spearhead system-wide improvement efforts.
o ID II serves as a mentor for ID I; and Participates in project teams and informal learning activities, including leading mid-sized to large efforts.
o ID SR Serves as a lead contributor to large enterprise efforts; Serves as mentor for Instructional Designer I or II; and certifies trainers adequately, consistently, and skillfully deliver courses as outlined by the course design.
The successful candidate will have experience in designing and developing instructional content and learning solutions in support of a clinical audience.
oInstructional Designer II - BA/BS in related field; 2 or more years training and development experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
oInstructional Designer Sr - BA/BS in related field; 5 or more years training and development experience, CEP or equivalent instructional design certification; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
Preferences for both positions:
o Experience developing learning solutions for health insurance clinical audiences is highly desired.
o RN or LPN highly desired
