This is a 2-3 month contract assignment

Position Description and Key
Responsibilities:
This position will pursue the following primary objectives:
Performs a variety of administrative duties. Supports one or more members of management and/or staff in a business or functional unit. Work generally requires knowledge of company and/or business/functional practices, policies, programs and/or product line. Resolves routine and non-routine inquiries. Administrative responsibilities include calendaring, document preparation and management, correspondence, travel arrangements, and meeting/travel coordination. Maintains confidentiality.
Create, update and maintain employee records in the HR system. Provide reports to managers as needed and ensure that records are accurate.
Own the candidate experience. This includes candidate scheduling, submittal of requests for building access, booking travel arrangements, compiling interview and resume packages for manager and candidates, and other logistics as needed.
Drive onboarding for new employees including PC requirements, office space, system set up, new employee orientation, etc.
Provide administrative support as needed to HR and Research Managers.
Manage job postings on a variety of external job sites.
Other administrative projects as determined.
Qualifications & Experience
Prior HR assistant experience will be extremely helpful.
Understanding and experience with HR software - as well as Microsoft Office suite of products. Strong PowerPoint skills a must.
Bachelor's degree preferred.
Ability to interface and communicate with all levels within the organization.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Strong organizational skills.
Pride and execution in quality of work essential.
Strong work ethic and desire to succeed.
Ability to multitask and prioritize.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
