Outside Sales Consultant, Technology
Perform responsibilities to contact current and prospective school districts to sell student information systems, instructional management solutions and related value-added services.
Promote and sell all product lines as described by company.
Meet established requirements in terms of sales dollars, sales increases and other responsibilities relevant to the position.
Monitor voice mail and e-mail daily and company correspondence and respond appropriately.
Attend and participate in local, regional and national exhibits, webinars, trade shows and sales meetings as scheduled.
Maintain communication with customer service, consultants, sales management and other internal departments to respond to inquiries and to follow-up as needed.
Document sales calls, maintain and update customer database, plan daily/weekly itinerary and keep all company databases current.
Review all promotional materials, catalogs and materials in order to present knowledgeably on sales calls.
Research information that can be found on the internet regarding school districts, grants, programs and other relevant information.
Job Requirements Four-year college degree or equivalent related broad training or work experience.
Must possess a valid driver's license.
Travel is required 90% of the time.
Solid presentation skills.
Command of the English language (speaking, reading & writing).

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
