The Card Process Modeling Team's primary function is to document the business's current processes and associated risks/controls within each of the critical business functions. The Team partners with multiple business, operational and control disciplines within Credit Card Services. The Team supports the business in the assessment of existing process performance; and provides guidance for the improvement of process simplification and sustainability.
The Business Analyst II will be part of an independent process mapping team ensuring that critical processes, risks and mitigating controls are identified and documented in accordance with internal standards. The Business Analyst II partners with the Card RCSA (Risk & Control Self Assessment) teams, Control Officers and process owners to lead the initial establishment of critical process flows and to execute the ongoing maintenance of process flow documentation. The Business Analyst II will also provide regular updates to management on the status of processes in scope, and will provide recommendations to the business for process enhancements where applicable. The position interfaces with counterparts across Operational Risk Management and Compliance.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for ensuring end-to-end process diagramming across Credit Card Services
Establishes project requirements, priorities, and deadlines and ensures project is completed in accordance with integration project management guidelines
Verifies accuracy and ensures compliance with plans, policies and procedures prescribed by management
Delivers findings to process owners for correction and assists process owners with the development of action plans to address significant process or control gaps
Issues regular project and management reporting for business leaders
Communicates with senior management to resolve conflicts through broad based decision making with key stakeholders.
Manages issues and management decisions to timely resolution.

Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint required

5 - 7 years' experience in process mapping, internal controls, operational risk, audit or control testing
BA Degree or equivalent preferred
