Mortgage Origination IT delivers timely solutions for loan origination using the best design and implementation tools, Business Application Monitoring and Business Process Management, in order to continuously improve business processes while taking an outside-in, customer-centric perspective.
We are actively seeking an Application Developer Manager to support Mortgage loan originations platform and deliver solutions that enhance the Chase business. This role will be supporting critical applications specific to first mortgage and home equity originations. As an Application Development manager, you will be responsible for the stability, resiliency and long term development of Progress/.NET/Java applications.
Additional responsibilities would include end to end SDLC delivery with the management of Business Analyst, Applications Developers, and Quality Assurance team members. You will mange the day to day backlog, grooming, story dependency mapping and sprint planning. You must coordinate with the Scrum Master to ensure sprint delivery is on time and with quality. The ADM is responsible for the team delivery of the program goals including commitment percent, story size, and points per resource.

Years of experience in design, development and implementation on Progress/Open Edge, .NET, or Java applications
Experience in database administration and configuring Application & Web Servers
Experience in researching and resolving application issues
Domain knowledge in US Mortgages and Banking & Finance Services.
Strong experience working in Agile methodologies and SCRUM execution
Experience in leading technical projects in Development team
Good communication skills
Experience working with geographically diverse team and coordinating with developers at diverse locations
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or equivalent industry experience
