As a Quality Assurance Analyst, you will perform limited scope and end to end system tests. You will also develop test scripts based upon business requirements and processes, in line with defined workflows and use cases and test applications to demonstrate that relevant existing system functionality is as expected.
Key
Responsibilities:
Develops testing processes and approaches according to company standards
Assists in designing and ensuring overall integrity of the testing strategy
Works with appropriate business and technology leads to determine the acceptable range for test results and performance
Helps design, develop and implement test plans, scripts, tools using the detailed business requirements document provided by the business analysts
Works with business and technology leads to identify the appropriate data for testing, and prepare that data for the test cases
Facilitates resolution and communication of cross-application/organization architectural issues and decisions
Assesses and revises test sequence and scope based upon test results and/or changes in product design
Coordinates component, system and documentation testing with the appropriate technical groups and Release Management
Documents test procedures and findings
Reconciles test results from different tests and different groups
Assesses readiness and deviation of product/project performance based upon test results and product specifications
Performs the tests in both the QA and contingency/backup environments
Creates and executes SQL queries to validate data in the database
Creates sample files in XML, CSV and other formats
Evaluates system files in XML, CSV and other formats
Minimum 5
years of applications development or quality assurance testing experience
Minimum 5
years of experience creating detailed test cases/scripts for technical and/or business clients
Minimum 5
years of experience creating functional and technical documentation
Minimum 5
years of experience in manual testing, testing tools, writing test plans, and reviewing test cases
Minimum 3
years of experience with SQL and various system to system integration formats
Knowledge or expertise of middleware development platforms like Oracle Tuxedo
Experience with Java batch file management
Experience in Oracle, HP-UX/LINUX
Experience with XML, Apache, and/or TCP/IP
Experience with Scrum methodology
Knowledge of Security, Authentication, and Encryption
Knowledge of Payment Processing
