Data Center/Network Support Specialist Associate
CSC is looking for a Data Center and Network Support associate to join our Infrastructure Services team. This position will serve as the Data Center and Network support person managing and assisting with all equipment installations, monitoring Data Center environments, and providing 2nd level support for the network team. This position is located at our headquarters in Wilmington, DE.
The Infrastructure Services team supports the whole CSC enterprise through implementation and support of exciting new technologies. As a strong and reliable team, we work together in a fast-paced environment to deliver and maintain a vast array of technology solutions to our growing lines of business. As a member of the Infrastructure Services team, you are valued as a key player and reliable contributor within a fun and creative technology-driven organization.
Some of the things you will you be doing:
Perform technical oversight of all Data Center installations and issues including detailed documentation and elevation drawings for all equipment located in the data centers
Provide 2nd level support for network issues
Manage and monitor all MDFs, IDFs, and remote site Environments for issues
Collaborate with teams to build solutions that utilize the data centers space and environments to full capacity
Stay abreast of product(s) roadmap for the product suites and reconcile that roadmap with CSC's product roadmaps
Partnered with CSC's IS organization, monitor and support all production server deployments for scalability, security, speed, and stability
Provide good cable management and documentation on all environments and cabinets
What technical skills, experience, and qualifications do you need?
CCNP certified or 3 years Cisco networking and configuration experience
3 years Data Center support with trouble shooting, racking equipment, cabling infrastructures
At least 5 years' experience in Enterprise networking
Experience with Cisco Nexus, Cisco Wireless controllers, Cisco WAAS a plus
Hands on experience with Cisco EPG and ACI environments
Checkpoint experience a plus
Experience with remote Data Center installations and support
Experience with cable management hardware and documentation
Travel to our Remote data centers in VA and LV will be required when requested

Schedule is primarily 8-5, however, after hours support and on-call rotation is required. There is flexibility to work from home a couple days a week.
This position requires travel about 15% of the time.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
